Milwaukee, WI. (OCTOBER 2019) – Milwaukee Chamber Theatre’s Managing Director Kirsten Finn has announced that she will step down at the end of October. MCT is sorry to lose Finn after a decade of service to the company, but is delighted that the greater Milwaukee community will continue to benefit from her passionate advocacy in her new role as Executive Director of the Wisconsin Bike Federation.
MCT Board President, Emily Shircel says, “We are eternally grateful for Kirsten’s hard work, passion, and dedication to MCT over the past decade. It is a true testament to her efforts that Milwaukee Chamber Theatre is where it is today.”
Producing Artistic Director, Michael Wright adds, “I am absolutely thrilled for Kirsten! I’ve greatly enjoyed working with her over the past ten years, and I wish her nothing but the best with this next adventure!”
MCT’s Incoming Producing Artistic Director, Brent Hazelton says, “While I am professionally disappointed to not have the chance to work further with Kirsten at MCT, the cyclist in me is excited to see what positive changes she brings about through the Bike Fed. I’m enthusiastic about working with the Board of Trustees to share widely all the things that make MCT so special as we search for the ideal candidate to succeed her as Managing Director and to collaborate with our entire team to lead MCT into the next phase of its institutional life.”
Additional details about the search for a new Managing Director will be released at a later date. For now, MCT’s focus is on continuing the 2019-2020 season with the final shows of FIRES IN THE MIRROR, running through October 13, and beginning rehearsals for JEEVES AT SEA, which runs November 22 – December 22.
