Florentine’s Al Fresco series is a three-part outdoor performance series with dinner options and safe socializing. This unique series will be staged in beautiful private gardens around southeast Wisconsin in River Hills, on Milwaukee’s Eastside and Fredonia.

Ballet Beat

The Milwaukee Ballet will be hitting the streets again with Ballet Beat, its free series of summer performances and activities across the Greater Milwaukee Area this July.  Find them around town during this month-long program with small showcase performances and workshops, all culminating  in two FREE finale performances by Milwaukee Ballet Company and MBII dancers. Ballet Beat is made possible through support from UPAF Connect and Kasey’s Fund.

2021 Summer Concert Series

The Three DIVAS

July 31, Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts

Featuring three of your favorite Milwaukee Rep leading women – Nova Y Payton (Effie in Dreamgirls), Alexis J Roston (First Lady of Song: Alexis J Roston Sings Ella FitzgeraldLady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill) and Bethany Thomas (Hedwig, The Color Purple, Ragtime, Songs for Nobodies). Our three Divas will sing popular hits, music from Broadway and past Rep shows as well as songs our performers love to sing. Music Direction by Dan Kazemi.

Hedwig Cast Reunion

August 13, Marcus Performing Arts Center, Peck Pavilion

Members of the cast from Milwaukee Rep’s hit production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch will gather to sing songs from Broadway, popular songs as well as several numbers from Hedwig. Featuring Bethany Thomas and Steve Watts backed by the Hedwig Band – Guitar, Maxwell Emmet; Bass,Tommy Hahn; Drums, Patrick Morrow. Music Direction/Keyboards, Dan Kazemi.
