Who We Support

Your gift helps fund 14 diverse local nonprofit arts organizations that are Members of UPAF. Six Cornerstone Members have earned distinction that can include national or regional recognition in their respective areas of the performing arts. UPAF Cornerstone Members are: First Stage, Florentine Opera Company, Milwaukee Ballet, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Skylight Music Theatre. Additional Members have elevated themselves as important contributors to the performing arts in Southeastern Wisconsin, which may also include earning national or regional recognition. These UPAF Members are: Bel Canto Chorus, Black Arts MKE, Danceworks, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO), Next Act, Present Music, and Renaissance Theaterworks. Each year, UPAF has a grant program funding different numbers of performing arts organizations, known as Affiliates, in addition to its Members.
