We are an umbrella nonprofit organization that raises funds to support 14 of Southeastern Wisconsin’s most prominent performing arts groups including First Stage, Florentine Opera Company, Milwaukee Ballet, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Skylight Music Theatre.
Collectively, UPAF Member Groups provide arts education to thousands of children, replacing what drastic budget cuts have taken away in many of our schools. Each year, they deliver quality arts education directly in the classroom, through after-school programs and on an individual basis with scholarships.
A Workplace Giving Campaign is a company-sponsored fundraising drive where employees can contribute to UPAF, have a fun, rewarding way to increase employee engagement & support the performing arts in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Use our online Performance Calendar to find available dance, music and theater from UPAF Cornerstone Member Groups, Member Groups and Affiliates to create your special entertainment outing! You can sort by event or performance group type, as well as month, week and day.
The performing arts have a real and meaningful effect on the lives of thousands of people in Southeastern Wisconsin every year. Whether it’s a child finding her voice, an elderly man reconnecting with music or a mother watching her son come out of his shell, these stories show us just how important the arts are to our well-being.
