And if you ever saw it, you would even say it glows! The beloved TV classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer soars off the screen and returns to our stage this holiday season. From fleeing the Abominable Snow Monster to saving Christmas, join Rudolph and his friends, Hermey the Elf and Yukon Cornelius, as their adventures teach us that what makes you different can be what makes you special. Don’t miss this wonderful holiday tradition that speaks to the little misfit in all of us. Suggested for families with young people ages 4+

The Milwaukee Symphony’s cherished tradition continues! Join the orchestra and returning audience favorite Jeff Tyzik for a musical jubilee of your favorite carols, classics, and sing-alongs. The Bradley Symphony Center halls will be decked in splendor for this beautiful holiday music celebration.

Handel's Messiah, Dec. 16 - 18

Handel’s Messiah, one of the most revered oratorios of all time, has become a musical centerpiece for the holidays. Music Director Ken-David Masur conducts this dramatic masterpiece as we fill the Bradley Symphony Center with Handel’s sacred sounds, including Messiah’s rousing and immortal “Hallelujah” chorus.


Skylight Music Theatre

A Jolly Holiday - Celebrating Disney's Broadway Hits,  Through Dec. 31

Ring in the holidays with a brand-new musical revue featuring 30 favorite songs from Disney’s biggest Broadway hits. A cast of phenomenal singers including an ensemble of talented youth performers will celebrate the season in style with a festive holiday party for the ages.


Bel Canto Chorus

Christmas in the Basilica, Dec. 9 - 11

A holiday tradition for thousands in the greater Milwaukee area, Bel Canto presents our 14th annual Christmas in the Basilica. Joined by brass and organ, we will perform beloved carols and hymns, including John Rutter’s Gloria, in the breathtaking grandeur of the Basilica. And as always, we will get the audience involved with sing-alongs. This experience makes for the perfect beginning to every family’s holiday season.

Black NativityDec. 8 - 11

Black Nativity by Langston Hughes returns for its 7th Annual Holiday Musical Production, December 8-11, 2022, at the Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall, Marcus Center. Hughes’ joyous holiday musical is a testament to his timeless work, telling the story of the Nativity through a combination of scripture, poetry, dance and song from the African-American perspective.

In our second annual post-modern holiday “caroling” event, PM invites you to join us on an evening walk about the city with boomboxes and smart phones creating a constantly morphing sound sculpture by Phil Kline. Each participant plays a provided audio track while walking a route through Milwaukee’s streets. Enjoy hot chocolate and a proprietary cocktail at Saint Kate’s!
