First Stage to hold day-long open house featuring free acting classes for students!
Milwaukee, WI – Students in grades K5-12 are invited to join First Stage for a free Academy acting class on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center located at 325 W. Walnut Street, Milwaukee. Classes will take place at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. and will last 30 minutes. Classes will be divided by age level and will offer students a chance to experience the excitement of a First Stage Academy class including Acting, Musical Theater, Improvisation, and Storytelling.
After class, students will present the skills they learned, followed by and a brief Q&A session led by First Stage Teaching Artists. New families can receive a 20% discount for First Stage’s popular Summer Academy classes during the event. Onsite registration will be available.

WHY: Learn more about First Stage Theater Academy, and how students in grades K5-12 can develop “life skills through stage skills” while learning Acting, Musical Theater, Improvisation and more.
WHAT ELSE? Students are asked to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to desired class time, and wear clothing and shoes that allow for comfort and movement.
