UPAF Shines the Spotlight on the 2019-20 Performing Arts Season
MILWAUKEE (Sept. 3, 2019) – For the third year in a row, the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) is earmarking September as Performing Arts Month to celebrate the 2019-20 season. A free sampling of UPAF Member Group performances will be open to the public at the new Saint Kate Arts Hotel and during Historic Milwaukee’s Doors Open in the Northwestern Mutual Tower.
“While UPAF takes center stage during our spring fundraising campaign, it has become a well-received tradition to showcase the amazing and distinct offerings of our ‘Milwaukee-made’ Member Groups each fall,” said Deanna Tillisch, UPAF president & CEO. “We are fortunate to have these local assets for people throughout the region to enjoy. UPAF is excited to offer free samples of the performing arts throughout September for individuals of all ages to get a sneak peek of what our Member Groups have planned for 2019-20.”

Mondays at the Saint Kate Arts Hotel – The ARC Theatre

Theatre opens at 5:30 p.m.; program begins at 6 p.m.
· Sept. 9: Next Act Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theater and Skylight Music Theatre
· Sept. 16: Florentine Opera Company, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre and Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra
· Sept. 23: First Stage, Milwaukee Ballet and Renaissance Theaterworks

· 10:45 – 11:15 a.m.: Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO)
