United Performing Arts Fund Announces Affiliate Grants
MILWAUKEE (Oct. 30, 2019) The United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) announced its selection of nonprofits to receive funding through the UPAF Affiliate Program, sponsored by Briggs & Stratton Corporation Foundation, for the 2019-20 performance season. UPAF will allocate a total of $114,000 to 16 performing arts organizations that applied for programmatic funding. This amount includes two earmarked gifts: $10,000 designation from Johnson Controls to Above the Clouds and $4,000 designation from the Milwaukee Bucks to Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. An additional $62,498 was allocated to Affiliates that performed in the workplace or at community events during the 2019 Campaign.

To receive a grant, qualified organizations are required to submit an online application outlining their specific funding request. Grant amounts were determined by an independent panel with expertise in arts, finance and community development.
