Composer/flutist/vocalist Nathalie Joachim will perform her piece  Ki moun ou ye, which explores her Haitian heritage. The piece is an introspective journey that delves into self-discovery, ancestral connection, and cultural memory. It explores the voice’s role as a tool for survival, drawing inspiration from her family’s seven generations of life on their remote Haitian farmland, and features a vibrant tapestry of Joachim’s voice, electronically sampled vocal textures, and an instrumental ensemble conducted by David Bloom.
