WISN Arts Avenue: UPAF launching community campaign to support arts in pandemic

MILWAUKEE — The United Performing Arts Fund is launching its 2021 Community Campaign this week.

This year, the campaign will focus on supporting 14 performing arts groups in the Milwaukee area that have been hit hard in the pandemic.

The event will raise critical funds to ensure these groups continue to provide entertainment, as well as have strong openings whenever it's safe to return to in-person performances.

The UPAF Launch event will stream live on Facebook on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
