In Tandem Theatre Welcomes a New Marketing Manager

January 17, 2019, Milwaukee, WI – In Tandem Theatre hires new Marketing Manager, Rachel Burden, to succeed Ann Barry. Burden will be responsible for all marketing initiatives as well as public relations, special events and theatre promotions.

 

As the Marketing Manager, Burden will join the administrative team of the established performing arts organization. The position works with the Producing and Artistic Directors/Co-founders, Chris and Jane Flieller. She will apply her knowledge to market four full-length productions per year, theatre fundraising and promotion of the art gallery located within In Tandem Theatre.

 

Burden brings a strong background in marketing, event planning and a passion for live theatre. In her new role, she will bring years of marketing experience from Shepherd Express, Elmbrook Humane Society and Harley-Davidson.

 

In addition to marketing initiatives, Burden will be able to apply her event experience from executing non-profit events and galas, radio and media promotions, wedding planning and other large-scale events.

I’m excited to bring my passion for the arts and my background in marketing to increase awareness about the theatre and all of the phenomenal shows and events being held here.”

 

In Tandem Theatre, a 501(c)3 non-profit was founded in 1998 with the commitment to produce exciting, innovative and professional live theatre by presenting creative and eclectic programming that enlightens, inspires, provokes and entertains a diverse audience in an intimate atmosphere. Its name, In Tandem Theatre, reflects the connection between audience and actor, the audience and the written word – an intimate experience obtained when live audiences are engaged in strong storytelling.
