Florentine Opera Partners with Robert Laurence Salon to Collect Hair Donations Ahead of “The Barber of Seville”

Friday, April 21, 2017• 7 to 9 PM

Robert Laurence Salon • 4060 N. Oakland Ave., Shorewood, WI

$10 per person (includes appetizers, beverages and entertainment)

The Florentine Opera is partnering with Robert Laurence Salon to promote its upcoming production of The Barber of Seville, and to collect hair donations for Children with Hair Loss.

Enjoy a glass of wine, listen to fantastic music, and donate your hair for a good cause.

Whether you’re a seasoned opera fan or this is your first opera, Off Stage is a perfect way to experience live music, fantastic food and great company in a relaxed environment—while giving back.

Professional hair stylists will be on hand for anyone willing to donate their hair (8 inches or more) to the charity Children with Hair Loss. Everyone who donates receives a free ticket to The Barber of Seville, May 5 and 7.

For the gentlemen, stylists will offer beard and mustache trims for $15 (additional cost). All proceeds from the beard and mustache trims will go to the Florentine Opera.

You don’t need to get a trim to attend the event. Enjoy appetizers, mingle with the cast, learn more about the Florentine’s production of The Barber of Seville, and join us in a casual Q&A with our Figaro, Luis Alejandro Orozco.

The Florentine Opera Studio Artists will perform some of our favorite numbers from the Barber of Seville.

Appetizers and beverages (wine, beer, soda) included.
