UPAF and Bublr Team Up for UPAF Ride for the Arts

UPAF RIDE FOR THE ARTS, SPONSORED BY MILLER LITE, AND BUBLR BIKES TEAM UP FOR  RED ARROW PARK EVENT/COSTUMED BIKE RIDE

WHAT:                       UPAF Ride for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite, and Bublr Bikes want to kick off the start of the outdoor biking season by previewing the June 5 Ride for the Arts. Bublr has partnered with UPAF and will offer free bike rentals to Ride participants without access to a bike.

The 35th Anniversary Ride is scheduled for Sunday, June 5, 2016. The Ride offers 10, 25, 45 and 70-mile bike routes. The 70, 45 and the 25-mile routes will ride over the Daniel Hoan Memorial Bridge, providing breathtaking views of Milwaukee and Lake Michigan. Register online at www.UPAFRide.org.

VISUALS:                   Remarks from Mayor Tom Barrett, County Executive Chris Abele, Tami Garrison from MillerCoors, Milwaukee County Parks Director John Dargle, Bublr Bikes Executive Director Kevin Hardman, and UPAF President & CEO Deanna Tillisch.

After a few brief remarks, the speakers and costumed riders on Bublr Bikes will go for a short spin past the Marcus Center, Milwaukee Rep and the Pabst Theatre.
