Milwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell and his family will serve as honorary co-chairs of this year’s UPAF Ride for the Arts sponsored by Miller Lite.

Thanks to a donation by the Brewers, children 12 and under, accompanied by a paying adult, will once again be able to ride any of the Ride for the Arts routes, according to a UPAF statement.

UPAF Ride for the Arts will begin and end June 3 at the Summerfest grounds, with 5-, 12-, 25-, 45- and 70-mile routes. Info: www.upafride.org.

For more than 50 years, UPAF has raised funds for local performing arts groups while also promoting the performing arts as an integral and necessary part of life in Milwaukee through a series of catchy slogans and campaigns.

UPAF previously announced that actors Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker will visit Milwaukee for the March 5 launch of this year’s fundraising campaign. The married performers are best known for their roles on the TV series “L.A. Law.” Tucker performed for the Milwaukee Repertory Theater from 1967-’70.
