Join us on Monday, March 20

The second staged reading in our 2016-17
Montgomery Davis Play Development Series,
CHRISTMAS IN BABYLON is a new comedy by
Wisconsin playwright James DeVita, set in North Babylon, NY.
A humorous yet poignant reflection on family and class, CHRISTMAS IN BABYLON is set in the blue-collar town of North Babylon, Long Island. The play centers around the McShane family: Terry, Denise, and their daughter Abby. When an unexpected acquaintance from Terry’s past – a past which Terry has not told his family about – comes to town for a visit, chaos ensues: funny, awkward, and surprisingly moving.

Directed by C. Michael Wright
Featuring Mary MacDonald Kerr, Tom Klubertanz, Eva Nimmer, Deborah Staples & Sara Zientek

The reading will take place in the Skylight Bar & Bistro, on the second floor of the Broadway Theatre Center, beginning at 7:30 p.m. March 20.

Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can at the door, with general seating.
Dinner and refreshments are available beginning at 5:30 p.m.
