Danceworks Mad Hot Tap Competition is TOMORROW, Jan 26 2:30-6pm

The wait is over! The Danceworks Mad Hot Tap Competition, which was postponed in December due to inclement weather, has been rescheduled for THIS Thursday, January 26 from 2:30-6pm at the BMO Harris Bradley Center!

 

Almost 1,000 5th graders from 34 Milwaukee area schools will get their chance to dance as they compete in the funky, latin and swing. The Competition is free and open to the public, so bring the whole family for an afternoon that’s sure to be full of joy and creativity! No tickets needed!

When:

Tap competition begins at 2:30pm. Finals begin at 4:45pm.

What:

The Danceworks Mad Hot Ballroom and Tap Program is an innovative educational dance program, providing desperately needed arts and physical education programming to underserved youth in central city schools. This year Danceworks Mad Hot expanded to a full year program, with sections focusing on Tap in the fall and Ballroom in the spring. Each section culminates in an exhilarating city-wide competition at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
