Saxophonist Steve Lehman joins the Present Music ensemble in Milwaukee’s Fifth Ward for the last concert of the 2016-17 season. Lines blur, genres disappear, and music is born on the spot as Lehman and composer, pianist Cory Smythe embark on an improvisational adventure, including the premiere of a new composition by Smythe, as well as string quartet by composer Ben Johnston. BOUNDARIES is part chamber concert, part nightclub, and part musical chemistry lab. Don’t miss this exhilarating finale to our 35th season! Please note: this concert will be performed at 6pm and again at 9pm, with a DJ set by Jordan Lee in between.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Watch him find bloody revenge through a cutthroat alliance with the lonely and enterprising Mrs. Lovett and her unsavory pies in this collision of comedy, corruption and cuisine.

On the heels of a sold-out 8 week run that had critics raving, Milwaukee Repertory Theater’s  McGuire starring Tony Award winner and Marquette Alum Anthony Crivello will return to the Stackner Cabaret for a limited engagement this June 1-18, 2017.  Written by Emmy-winning and Hall of Fame sports broadcaster Dick Enberg, McGuire celebrates the local legend Marquette University’s basketball coach Al McGuire in a newly expanded one-man show.

This special limited engagement of McGuire begins performances June 1 and runs through June 18, 2017 in the Stackner Cabaret.  Tickets can be purchased online at www.MilwaukeeRep.com, by phone at 414-224-9490 or in person at the Ticket Office (108 E. Wells Street). ).  Performance schedule is as follows: Tuesdays – Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 4pm and 8pm, Sundays at 2pm and 7pm.
