We are an umbrella nonprofit organization that raises funds to support 15 of Southeastern Wisconsin’s most prominent performing arts groups including First Stage, Florentine Opera Company, Milwaukee Ballet, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Skylight Music Theatre.
Donors to UPAF may be eligible for many donor benefits including “buy one, get one free” tickets, invitation to special events, and the ability to designate a portion of your donation to one or more UPAF Member Groups.
A Workplace Giving Campaign is a company-sponsored fundraising drive where employees can contribute to UPAF, have a fun, rewarding way to increase employee engagement & support the performing arts in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Performing arts entertain and engage, positively impact our economy, and provide important arts education to our area’s children. Collectively, UPAF’s 15 Member Groups impact over a million lives each year.

The performing arts have a real and meaningful effect on the lives of thousands of people in Southeastern Wisconsin every year. Whether it’s a child finding her voice, an elderly man reconnecting with music or a mother watching her son come out of his shell, these stories show us just how important the arts are to our well-being.
