MILWAUKEE CHAMBER THEATRE'S
"DUET FOR ONE"

Duet for One

February 18-March 14
Studio Theatre, Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Broadway

Stephanie Abrahams admits to having a disease that may bring down the curtain on both her musical career and her marriage. But only after begrudgingly agreeing to see a psychiatrist will this concert violinist admit to the fearful aria playing inside her. Loosely based on the life of Jacqueline du Pre, this immensely moving play crescendos with unexpected hope from the melancholy of possibilities lost.

When it comes to the performing arts in Southeastern Wisconsin, what happens on stage is only part of the story. In addition to lifting our spirits through performances, UPAF's thirty-four performing arts groups help retain high-level professionals to the region and change the lives of 400,000 children through education and outreach every year.
